For as long as I can remember, I’ve been keenly interested in cities, maps and design. I’m fascinated with urban planning and design - and how we can make urban spaces more accessible, livable and safe. This dashboard combines all three: data, planning and road safety.

Why this dashboard?
This India Road Crash Intelligence Platform brings together everything I've worked on for the past several years - geospatial analysis, crash data, blackspot identification, iRAP star ratings, data visualisation and urban planning. Two of my published research papers (15th and 17th Urban Mobility India Conferences) focus on pedestrian crashes in Chennai - a topic this dashboard quantifies at national, state and city level. Built as a public-facing tool to make MoRTH's annual report tables explorable, comparable and useful for policy-makers, researchers and citizens.

Let's make roads safer - together.
If you're working on road safety, urban mobility, geospatial data, or just want to chat about how cities can be made more livable, I'd love to connect.
